Explore the Lake of the Ozarks
Located in central Missouri on the Missouri Ozark Mountains southern edge, Lake of the Ozarks was formed in 1931 by impounding the Osage River. The Ozarks are made up of four counties: Hancock, Lewis, Jackson, and Wilson. Lake of the Ozarks features the biggest natural lake in the entire state.
My friend, Paul, who lives and works in Springfield (he runs a junk removal company called The Junk Pirates, always mentioned the beautiful area he and his wife lives in, so I decided to check it out for myself.
The largest town of Lake of the Ozarks is Springfield, which is located on the shores. In addition to the city of Springfield, Lake of the Ozarks has a population of about 20,000 people, which makes it a big community, including Big Sandy, Branson, Camden, Ellsworth, Fort Mitchell, Independence, Moberly, and Pelican Springs.
Springfield is the capital and largest city of Missouri. It was built in 1839 and is full of history, including the Old Post Office and the Old State Capitol.
Things to Do
There are many things to do in Springfield, such as visiting the Springfield Historical Museum and the National Museum of Natural History. Other interests include the Springfield Zoo and the Children’s Museum. There are also the John Deere Plantation and the Springfield Raceway Park.
Springfield’s town has some beautiful places to visit, including the Riverfront Square and Central Park. The Riverfront Square features a park that allows for a great view of downtown. Central Park features beautiful trees, gardens, and picnic areas. There is also a bridge where the historic Springfield Railroad Bridge crosses the Missouri River.
Branson, Missouri, is an Ozark-town in southeast Missouri near Springfield renowned for its family destination. Its 66 County Boulevard, known as the Ozark Expressway, is a two-lane thoroughfare that is a favorite among tourists.
Branson’s country-western flair is evident at the Riverfront Square Mall, a major tourist attraction located between its two main shopping districts. The Mall features everything from clothing to sports memorabilia, and the area is one of the best places in the city for shopping and dining. On Branson’s east side, the Rock and Roll Zoo is another must-see attraction. For fun-seekers, Branson has several indoor and outdoor attractions. There is a lot to do and see in Branson, Missouri, from rodeos and concerts to art galleries and family activities.
